Dr. Paul Nienaber has been an optometrist for over 20 years. He graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1999. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology from Salisbury State University in Maryland in 1995. He began his career in Winston Salem 1999. In 2006 he purchased the practice of Mallory Chambliss, OD in Rural Hall in 2006. The practice has been in the same location since 1987. The CDC and the NC State Board of Optometry required all eyecare providers to close their practices on March 19 to help prevent the spread of the Covid 19 virus. We were ordered to stop providing any routine eye care services. We will provide emergency eye care such as treatment of corneal abrasions, foreign body removals and dilation of the eyes if you have symptoms of a retinal detachment. If you have an eye emergency, please call our office first. We will have a staff member at the office from 10:00 to 1:00 Monday thru Thrusday to answer the phones. If you unable to be triaged by staff during these hours, you can reach the after hours emergency number at 336 930 2870. Leave a message and your call will be returned shortly. Thank you for your patience. We are all eager to get back to work as soon as possible.
